National Registry Requirement Information
CareerCert’s products allow you to meet the guidelines of the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians.
If you have not completed any education toward your recertification, you will need to purchase a virtual instructor-led refresher program in addition to a 1- or 2-year subscription.
If you have taken some education toward your recertification, explore our individual live courses or our limited 10-course subscription.
Reporting to the NREMT is the responsibility of every student. However, we report all of your course completions to CAPCE if you have a national license or a state license that is not in an enforced state. (Enforced states include Florida, New Jersey, New York, Texas, and Virginia. Learn more about state certification requirements here.) Once your completions are sent to CAPCE, you’re able to pull those completions into your NREMT account. If your completions don’t pull into your NREMT account, please note the following:
- Your NREMT account needs to have an identical name, license number, license level, and expiration date as your CareerCert profile
- If your completion certificate has a CAPCE accreditation number (ex. 11-CSTEP-3333), we have reported your completion to CAPCE and further troubleshooting should be directed toward the National Registry website. Or, you can choose to report your completion manually.
