• What is CareerCert?

  CareerCert is an accredited online course and continuing medical education provider.  We specialize in the most up-to-date courses, training, and techniques to ensure and improve patient outcomes and instill confidence in emergency responders across the fire, emergency medical, and clinical service fields.

• Are your courses accredited?

  All CareerCert courses in the EMS library are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Prehospital Continuing Education (CAPCE). Self-paced courses are accredited as F3 category courses, and virtual instructor-led training are accredited as F5 category courses. All our EMS content meets NREMT requirements and is regularly reviewed and updated by our medical advisory board.

  CareerCert’s online firefighter courses refresh professionals on the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) guidelines. All our firefighter content is regularly reviewed and updated by our fire advisory board, and we provide education that meets guidelines set forth by the Insurance Services Office (ISO).

• What courses and training options does CareerCert offer for individuals?

  CareerCert provides online certification and CE solutions for EMS, fire, and healthcare professionals. You can view a full list of the courses we offer here.   EMS CE Solutions

  CareerCert provides CAPCE-accredited EMS refreshers that fulfill NREMT requirements for EMRs, EMTs, AEMTs, and paramedics. We also offer online distributive (F3) EMS courses you can earn anytime, anywhere with our self-paced subscriptions. In addition, we have individual virtual instructor-led courses (F5) you can purchase if you need only a few remaining live hours to fulfill requirements.

  Firefighter CE Solutions

  From active shooter response training to HAZMAT courses, CareerCert has 85+ hours of online firefighter continuing education to help you protect against loss of life and property. Our courses refresh professionals on the NFPA guidelines and are designed for firefighters, instructors, and fire leaders.

  Designated Infection Control Officer Training

  Tying in expectations from multiple regulatory entities, including OSHA, NFPA 1581, CDC, NOISH, the Federal Registry, and the Ryan White Law, this training provides an understanding of regulations for designated infection control officers as well as implementation concepts to assist in execution. Participants will also be provided with resources to assist in developing and modifying their own program, including a template for an infection control plan that can be used for their agency.
